Snapshot

  • Client: Eco Bright Exteriors
  • Industry: Exterior cleaning services
  • Project: Branded thank-you bag leave-behind kit
  • Deliverables: Custom microfiber cloths, pens, referral rewards cards, keychain bottle openers, business cards, fridge magnets, and custom-printed bags
  • Goal: Drive referrals and repeat business from existing clients

The Challenge

For a service business like Eco Bright Exteriors, the best marketing moment happens right after the job is done. The house looks great, the client is happy — and then the crew drives away and the relationship goes quiet until the client happens to remember them a year later.

Todd wanted a way to stay present in his clients’ homes long after the truck left the driveway. Not a follow-up email that gets deleted, and not a business card that disappears into a junk drawer — something clients would actually keep, use, and hand to their neighbors.

The Solution

We designed a complete thank-you bag: a branded leave-behind kit the crew hands to every client at the end of a job. Every piece was designed to either get used, get kept, or get given away.

Eco Bright Exteriors thank-you bag contents: custom microfiber cloth, branded pen, keychain bottle opener, fridge magnet, and business cards
Everything in the kit: microfiber cloth, magnet, keychain bottle opener, pen, business cards, and the custom-printed bag.

Custom microfiber cloths — genuinely useful for a client who just had their exterior cleaned, and branded so Eco Bright is in hand every time they wipe down a window or countertop.

Fridge magnets — the single highest-real-estate placement in any home. When the gutters need cleaning next spring, the number is already on the fridge.

Keychain bottle openers — a keeper item that travels with the client everywhere.

Referral rewards cards and business cards — the give-away layer. The extra cards aren’t for the client; they’re for the neighbor who asks “who did your house?” The rewards card makes referring effortless: scan the QR code, start referring, earn rewards.

The “Refer & Earn Rewards” card — a QR code turns a happy client into an active referrer in seconds.

The bag itself — a custom-printed thank-you bag that ties it all together and turns the handoff into a moment. It’s not a receipt and a wave goodbye; it’s a gift.

Everything was designed under the Eco Bright brand system we built with Todd, so the kit looks like it came from one company with its act together — because it did.

Why It Works

A thank-you bag isn’t swag for swag’s sake. It’s a referral system disguised as a gift:

  1. The useful items keep the brand in the home (microfibers, magnets, pens).
  2. The keeper items keep the brand on the move (keychains).
  3. The shareable items arm happy clients to refer (rewards cards, extra business cards).

Repeat business and referrals are the cheapest revenue a service company can earn — and they’re won in the thirty seconds after a job wraps, not in an ad budget. It’s the same principle behind promotional products that actually get used: if it’s useful, it sticks around; if it sticks around, it sells.

The Takeaway

If your business does great work in person, your marketing shouldn’t end when the job does. A well-designed leave-behind turns every completed job into a small, ongoing campaign inside your client’s home.
