Add Ventanix to Your Home Screen

Open Safari
Navigate to app.ventanix.com in Safari. This must be done in Safari — other browsers on iOS don’t support adding to the home screen.
Tap the Share button
Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen (the square with an upward arrow).
Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”
You may need to scroll down in the share menu to find this option.
Name it and tap Add
You can keep the default name or rename it to something like “Ventanix” or “Portal”. Tap Add in the top-right corner.
Done!
The Ventanix portal will now appear as an app icon on your home screen. Tap it anytime for instant access to your projects, assets, and more.
Open Chrome
Navigate to app.ventanix.com in Google Chrome.
Tap the three-dot menu
Tap the ⋮ menu icon in the top-right corner of Chrome.
Tap “Add to Home screen”
Select “Add to Home screen” from the dropdown menu.
Confirm the name and tap Add
You can rename the shortcut if you’d like. Tap “Add” to confirm, then tap “Add to Home screen” or drag the icon in the popup.
Done!
You’ll find the Ventanix portal icon on your home screen. It opens in its own window, just like a native app.
Open Chrome or Edge
Navigate to app.ventanix.com in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Look for the install icon
In Chrome, click the install icon (monitor with a down arrow) in the address bar on the right side. In Edge, click the … menu and select “Apps” → “Install this site as an app”.
Click Install
A prompt will appear asking to install “Ventanix”. Click Install to confirm.
Done!
The Ventanix portal will open in its own window and appear in your Start menu (Windows), Dock (Mac), or app launcher. You can pin it to your taskbar or dock for even quicker access.

Common Questions
- Is this the same as downloading an app?
- Almost! The portal runs in your browser but opens in its own window without the address bar, just like a native app. It uses your existing login — no separate app download or account needed.
- Will I get notifications?
- You’ll continue to receive email notifications for tasks, comments, and updates. Push notifications from the home screen shortcut are not currently supported.
- I don’t see the “Add to Home Screen” option.
- On iPhone/iPad, you must use Safari — other browsers like Chrome don’t support this feature on iOS. On desktop, make sure you’re using Chrome or Edge. If the install option doesn’t appear, try reloading the page.
- Can I remove it later?
- Yes. On iPhone/iPad, long-press the icon and tap “Remove Bookmark.” On Android, long-press and drag to “Remove.” On desktop, right-click the icon and select uninstall or remove.
